Due to Industrial Action of General Practitioners in England, Lawson Road Surgery will be offering a reduced amount of daily appointments and services under a work-to-rule-implementation, more details are listed below. This unfortunate action is in response to escalating and unsustainable workload pressures within the NHS.
The Practice is still open, and we would encourage patients to come forwards for care and contact us in normal ways.
You may be directed by a patient services team to consult other medical service providers; such as NHS 111, Community Pharmacies and the Pharmacy First Service, the Norwich Walk-in-Centre, Minor injury Unit in Cromer, and if it is serious or life-threatening emergency, to call 999.
We hope this Industrial Action will be resolved as soon as possible, we appreciate your support for the practice and the NHS, and apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused. The Partners at Lawson Road Surgery.
